1. Overview

This website is operated by Still Ore. Throughout the website, the terms “Still Ore,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Still Ore.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, online store, content, products, and services (collectively, the “Site”).

By visiting the Site, creating an account, placing an order, or purchasing a product from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Site or place an order through it.

2. About Still Ore

Still Ore is an independent curated online retailer featuring distinctive jewelry selected from a range of independent designers and artisans.

Our collection is organized around style, form, material, craftsmanship, and aesthetic rather than solely by designer, allowing customers to discover pieces across different creative practices.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on the applicable product page or at checkout, purchases made through this Site are sold, processed, and supported by Still Ore.

References to a designer, artisan, studio, or brand identify the creator or source of a product. Such references do not necessarily establish an employment relationship, partnership, agency, or joint venture between Still Ore and that designer or artisan.

Designer names, trademarks, artwork, photographs, and original designs remain the property of their respective owners.

3. Eligibility and Use of the Site

By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state, province, or country of residence, or that you have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use our Site or products for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose. You may not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right while using the Site.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate information when placing an order or creating an account.

4. Products and Product Information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph each product accurately. However, colors and details may appear differently depending on lighting, photography, screen settings, and the device used to view the Site.

Some products are handmade, hand-finished, vintage-inspired, made in small batches, or created using natural materials. Slight variations in color, texture, shape, surface, finish, dimensions, stone pattern, or construction may occur. These variations are part of the individual character of the piece and are not necessarily defects.

Product dimensions and measurements are approximate unless expressly stated otherwise.

Materials are described to the best of our knowledge based on information available to us and supplied by the applicable designer or artisan. If you have metal sensitivities, allergies, or specific material concerns, please contact us before purchasing.

Product care information is provided as general guidance. The lifespan and appearance of jewelry may be affected by wear, storage, moisture, chemicals, cosmetics, cleaning methods, and individual body chemistry.

Unless expressly identified as suitable for children, our jewelry is intended for adult use and may contain small components.

5. Availability and Inventory

All products and offers are subject to availability.

Because some pieces are handmade, produced in limited quantities, or offered through more than one sales channel, an item may occasionally become unavailable after an order is submitted.

We reserve the right to:

limit the quantities of a product available for purchase;
discontinue a product at any time;
limit sales to particular customers, households, geographic regions, or jurisdictions when reasonably necessary;
correct inventory errors; and
cancel an order that we are unable to fulfill.

If we cancel an order after payment has been processed, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

6. Prices, Payments, and Taxes

All prices are displayed in the currency shown on the Site.

Prices may change without notice. A price change will not affect an order that we have already accepted, except where the listed price resulted from an obvious technical or typographical error.

Applicable taxes, shipping charges, customs duties, and other fees will be displayed at checkout when available or handled as described in our Shipping Policy.

You agree to provide valid and accurate billing and payment information. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Payment may be processed by third-party payment providers. Your use of their services may also be subject to their applicable terms and privacy policies.

7. Orders and Order Acceptance

Submitting an order does not guarantee that we will accept or fulfill it.

After an order is submitted, you may receive an order confirmation email acknowledging that we received the order. This acknowledgment does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of the order.

We may decline, limit, or cancel an order for reasons including:

product unavailability;
inventory or pricing errors;
incomplete or inaccurate customer information;
payment authorization problems;
suspected fraud or unauthorized activity;
shipping restrictions; or
inability to fulfill the order.

If additional information is required, we may contact you using the information supplied during checkout.

If an accepted order is canceled after payment, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method. Processing times imposed by banks or payment providers are outside our direct control.

8. Orders Placed Through Other Platforms

These Terms apply only to orders placed directly through the Still Ore website.

Still Ore can access and provide customer service only for orders associated with this Site. We are unable to modify, cancel, return, refund, exchange, replace, or otherwise manage purchases made through:

Etsy;
a designer’s or artisan’s own website;
another retailer;
a social media checkout;
an in-person marketplace; or
any other third-party platform.

For assistance with a purchase made elsewhere, please contact the original seller or the platform through which the transaction was completed and follow the policies applicable to that purchase.

The inclusion of a designer, artisan, studio, brand, or product on the Still Ore website does not make Still Ore responsible for transactions completed through that party’s other sales channels.

9. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping destinations, rates, processing times, estimated delivery windows, customs information, and other delivery conditions are described in our Shipping Policy.

Processing and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly state otherwise. Delays may occur because of carrier operations, weather, customs processing, holidays, incorrect address information, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Please contact us as soon as possible if you discover an error. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order enters fulfillment.

Still Ore collaborates with independent designers, artisans, and jewelry labels to curate the products offered on this website.

Unless expressly stated otherwise on an individual product page, all orders placed through this website are sold, processed, inspected, packed, and shipped by Still Ore from California, United States. Our designers and artisan partners do not ship customer orders directly.

Still Ore is responsible for payment processing, order fulfillment, customer service, returns, and refunds for purchases completed through this website.

An order may occasionally be divided into more than one package for operational reasons, but all packages are dispatched by Still Ore from California.

Shipping concerns will be handled in accordance with our Shipping Policy and applicable law.

10. Returns, Exchanges, and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, order cancellations, damaged items, incorrect items, and refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.

Please review that policy before placing an order. Certain items may be final sale or subject to return restrictions, including items that are personalized, made to order, altered, worn, or restricted for hygiene reasons, where permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Promotions, Discount Codes, and Gift Cards

Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional terms, expiration dates, product exclusions, minimum purchase amounts, or geographic restrictions.

Unless expressly stated otherwise:

discount codes cannot be combined;
discounts cannot be applied retroactively;
discounts have no cash value; and
promotional offers may be modified or discontinued before an order is placed.

Gift cards, if offered, are subject to the terms displayed at the time of purchase and applicable law.

12. Customer Accounts

You may be able to create a customer account for convenience.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity occurring through your account. Please notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may suspend or close an account where we reasonably believe it has been used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.

13. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content—including the Still Ore name and logo, website layout, text, graphics, product curation, photographs owned by Still Ore, videos, illustrations, and other materials—are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Product designs, designer names, studio names, trademarks, photographs, and other materials belonging to featured designers or artisans remain the property of their respective owners.

You may access the Site for personal, noncommercial shopping purposes. Without prior written permission from the applicable rights owner, you may not:

copy, reproduce, republish, sell, or commercially exploit Site content;
use product photographs for commercial purposes;
remove copyright, trademark, or attribution notices;
represent another designer’s work as your own; or
use automated systems to scrape or collect Site content.

14. Reviews and Customer Submissions

If you submit a review, photograph, comment, suggestion, or other content to Still Ore, you represent that:

you have the right to submit it;
it does not infringe another person’s rights;
it is not knowingly false, misleading, unlawful, threatening, or abusive; and
it does not contain malicious software or unauthorized advertising.

You grant Still Ore a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, edit for formatting, and use the submitted content in connection with operating and promoting Still Ore, subject to applicable privacy and consumer-protection laws.

We may remove content that violates these Terms, but we are not obligated to monitor every submission.

15. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, shipping carriers, social media platforms, and external websites.

Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of a third-party service that we do not control.

Shopify provides the e-commerce platform used to operate the Site, but Shopify is not the seller of the products purchased from Still Ore.

Our collection and use of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy.

By using the Site, you acknowledge that information may be processed by service providers that help us operate the store, process payments, fulfill orders, prevent fraud, provide customer service, and measure or improve Site performance.

17. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Site:

Where liability may legally be limited, our total liability relating to a particular purchase will not exceed the amount you paid to Still Ore for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, intentional misconduct, or any other liability protected by applicable consumer law.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Still Ore and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers from third-party claims arising directly from:

your unlawful use of the Site;
your material violation of these Terms; or
your infringement of another party’s rights.

This section does not require you to indemnify Still Ore for Still Ore’s own unlawful conduct, negligence, or breach of these Terms.

22. Events Outside Our Control

We will not be responsible for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruption, severe weather, natural disaster, fire, labor disruption, government action, customs delay, widespread technical failure, or interruption of utilities or communications.

This section does not affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms remain effective while you use the Site.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the Site, or engage in conduct that threatens its security or other users.

Provisions that by their nature should continue after termination—including intellectual-property, payment, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions—will survive termination.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in effect.

25. No Waiver

Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.

Any waiver must be made in writing by an authorized representative of Still Ore.

These Terms, together with the policies expressly referenced in them, constitute the entire agreement between you and Still Ore concerning your use of the Site and purchases made through it.

If a product page, promotion, or written agreement contains additional terms, those additional terms will apply to the extent they relate specifically to that product, promotion, or agreement.

27. Governing Law

These Terms and purchases made through the Site are governed by the laws of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under the laws of their place of residence when those protections legally apply.

Before filing a formal claim, you and Still Ore agree to make a reasonable effort to resolve the issue by contacting one another.

28. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices, technology, or legal obligations.

The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Changes apply prospectively from the date they are published unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
